Terms of Use & Data

Last updated: July 6, 2026

These Terms describe the rules for using the Service, how data is processed, and payment. By starting to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree — do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

Service / Application — a software product under the name Parti, including the Telegram bot and the Telegram Mini App, intended for tracking shared expenses: creating events, adding expenses and participants, computing balances and producing a recommended list of «who owes whom and how much» transfers.

User — a person using the Service through a Telegram account.

Administration — the team that provides and maintains the Service.

Third-party services — external providers the Service relies on: the Telegram platform (authorization, message delivery, payment acceptance) and a language-model provider used to automatically determine an expense category from its description. Their servers may be located in different countries.

2. Nature of the Service and calculations

The Service is intended for informational and reference accounting of settlements between Users. All amounts are computed in whole minor units (kopecks); calculations reconcile: the sum of shares equals the expense amount, the sum of participant balances equals zero, and the number of recommended transfers is minimal.

The Service is not a credit, payment or other financial institution. The Service does not open accounts, does not hold or carry out transfers of funds between Users, and is not a party to such transfers.

Users make the actual transfers of funds themselves and outside the Service, by means they choose. Payment marks are of a reference nature and are set by Users for their own convenience. Balances and recommendations of the Service do not constitute accounting, tax or other official records.

3. User agreement

The agreement takes effect from the moment you start using the Service (pressing buttons, sending commands to the bot, opening the mini app) and means acceptance of these Terms in their current version. The Administration may update the Terms; the current version is published in the mini app, and continued use means agreement with it.

Capacity to accept. By using the Service, you confirm that you have the legal capacity required to accept these Terms and are entitled to do so.

The Service is provided «as is». The Administration does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the absence of errors, or that results will meet expectations. The resulting calculations are auxiliary; Users are responsible for the accuracy of the data they enter and for the actual settlements.

4. Use of the Service

The User undertakes to use the Service lawfully and in good faith: to enter accurate data, not to infringe the rights of other participants, not to upload unlawful or malicious content, and not to disrupt the infrastructure (API abuse, bypassing limits, attempts at unauthorized access).

Data entered by the User. Expenses, amounts, shares, names and payment details are entered by the User; the Service performs calculations solely on the basis of this data.

Event access and payment details. Event data is available to its participants. Joining is done via an invitation link distributed by the User at their own responsibility. Payment details entered by the User are shown to other event participants on the settlement screen, in line with their purpose.

Third-party services. The Service uses third-party APIs and infrastructure. The Administration does not control their infrastructure or policies; outages, changes of terms or discontinuation of such services are beyond the Administration's control and, within reasonable limits, are not grounds for claims beyond what is expressly provided by these Terms.

5. Data and privacy

What data is processed: the Telegram identifier, name and username from the profile, interface language, technical request metadata, event, expense, balance and payment-detail data entered by the User, and payment identifiers (without full payment details).

Purposes: identification in Telegram, providing the expense-tracking service, accounting of limits and payment, user support, ensuring security and developing the Service.

Transfer to third-party services. To automatically determine an expense category, its description may be transferred to a language-model provider. Authorization, message delivery and payment acceptance are performed via the Telegram platform. The transfer is carried out only to the extent necessary for the Service to work; providers' servers may be located in different countries.

Retention periods. Data is kept as long as necessary for the Service to work and is deleted once the purpose of processing is achieved or upon the User's request.

Your rights. You may request information about processing, deletion of your data, or to stop using the Service through the support channel. Stopping processing may make further use of the Service impossible.

6. Payment (Telegram Stars)

Subject of payment. Without payment, the Service provides limited functionality (including one active event). A Premium subscription removes limits and unlocks additional features. The composition and price of Premium are shown in the interface when making a payment.

Payment procedure. Payment is made solely through Telegram's built-in payment mechanism — Telegram Stars (XTR). Entering payment data and authorizing the payment are done on the Telegram side; full payment details are not passed to or stored by the Administration.

Term and renewal. Premium is valid for the limited period stated at checkout and does not renew automatically without a separate payment. If automatic renewal is introduced, it will be clearly indicated before payment.

Activation. After payment is confirmed, Premium is activated automatically where technically possible. In case of delay or error, save the payment confirmation from Telegram and contact support.

Refunds. Refunds for Telegram Stars payments are handled under Telegram's rules and processed on the Telegram side. Disputed matters are resolved through support within the platform's rules.

Price and composition changes. The price and composition of Premium may change; changes apply to new payments and do not affect an already paid and active period.

7. Limitation of liability

The Administration is not a party to settlements and transfers between Users, does not guarantee performance of Users' obligations to one another, and does not act as an intermediary in disputes between them.

To the maximum extent permitted, the Administration's aggregate liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the Service over the last twelve months. The Administration does not compensate for lost profit and indirect damages, nor for damages arising from the use of reference calculations without independent verification.

8. Intellectual property

Rights to the software, brand and interface belong to their rightsholders. The User retains rights to the content they enter; the Administration is granted a limited license to process it to the extent necessary for the Service to work, for the duration of the service.

9. Changes and contact

The Administration may change these Terms and the composition of the Service; the User is notified of material changes by available means. The parties seek to resolve disputes by contacting support before resorting to other means of protection. For any questions, use the «Support» section in the app.
